Supporting our HEROES

Heroes of Hearing is a proud supporter of our veterans. We appreciate the freedoms they protect and would love to show our appreciation by making it easier for them to hear better or get relief from tinnitus and hearing loss.

Being exposed to the loudness of war has rendered many of our veterans disabled when it comes to their ability to hear. This impairment can greatly impact the relationships with friends and family.

To show our support, Heroes of Hearing has joined up with the Hometown Hero Project to provide our veterans with a discount on hearing aids, hearing devices or tinnitus services depending on the veterans’ needs, so they can receive the help they deserve. Veterans should contact us to find what discount they are eligible for at Heroes of Hearing.

Veterans With Tinnitus And Hearing Loss

According to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, tinnitus is the number one disability among veterans and hearing loss is the second most common. Those people who have not served in the military may not understand the struggles our veterans encounter when serving, only to coming home with these hearing disabilities. Yet, research has shown that veterans with tinnitus often struggle with depression and anxiety.

Here at Heroes of Hearing, we want to help all veterans regain their hearing and assist them in managing their tinnitus. As preferred veteran providers, we do our best to ensure all veterans who enter our hearing clinic receive the best hearing help possible.

Services Heroes of Hearing Provides For Veterans

There is a variety of hearing related-services we can provide to veterans at a discounted rate to help these real-life heroes regain their ability to hear. Some of the key services are:

  • Comprehensive hearing test – As hearing loss is so common among veterans, it is important that they receive a comprehensive hearing test. This test will help our hearing instrument specialist to assess the extent of the hearing loss and allow for tailored hearing solutions to be given to the veteran being tested.
  • Hearing aids –  Once the hearing test is complete, our hearing instrument specialist will be able to recommend the right style of hearing aids for the veteran’s level of hearing loss. Our veterans’ discount can be applied as credit toward a pair of hearing aids.
  • Tinnitus treatment – While there is no cure for tinnitus, we do provide veterans with tinnitus treatment so that they can successfully manage their tinnitus. Our clinic’s discount extends to our tinnitus services such as the tinnitus assessment and our sound generators.

When you schedule an appointment, be sure you don’t forget to ask us about our veterans discount!
